AIGA Portfolio Review Jacksonville ‘08
April 13, 2008 | by Dennis Eusebio

I’m always pleasantly surprised with the rising quality of student portfolios coming from the Jacksonville and SCAD area. It seems like every program has found a way to step things up year after year. So, it was a pleasure for Chad and I to get a chance to meet with some of the new designers and faculty and see what all the programs had to offer this year.
The AIGA Portfolio Review is an annual event put together for students in the North Florida, South Georgia region to get honest feedback and advice from professional designers in the industry. Not to brag about our AIGA chapter, but they put together a very well executed event year after year and I think it really helps the design community as a whole. Much respect to Ron and Co. at AIGA Jacksonville for holding another excellent event.
Overall the work was amazing this year, lots of potential and lots of talent for the Jacksonville market to hire. Companies in the area should definitely take note of the new graduating class and make sure to hire these designers before they find other opportunities in bigger markets. Don’t let the opportunity pass you by, grow your company with the top talent this area has to offer. Get in contact with us if you’re interested in growing your company and looking for the best designers in the area.

Chad and I will be attending the Flagler program’s portfolio review coming up in two weeks so don’t hesitate to come by and say hi during the event. There was some serious talent from Flagler this year so it should be an amazing show. We’ll post more information about the event soon.
